food for thought

« Why associate beige with white when blue adds chic — Hello, my name is Claire and if you don’t know me, I » — swipe « Did you know that this _ is not pilate nor is that _, Hi, I’m a professional Pilates instructor and here are my top 3 »– swipe « Stop doing this _ instead, do that _ » I turn off my new iphone 16 and throw it at the edge of my bed. The screen’s now away, but the image takes a few minutes to dissolve from my pupils. The overflow of information came over me like a tornado, swirling in my mind. I press my fingernails onto my scalp and run through it, like a rake removing the dead leaves after a storm, clearing the way for the next thoughts. I have set a time limit to 15 minutes a day but to my dissapointment I just have to snooze it. So it hasn’t worked that well. My boyfriend has the password, I thought it would be more efficient that way. I instantly need to give my brain some food for thought — unrotten ones. A blank time in between would leave me frozen, stuck in the middle pushed and pulled between the desire to do more and the inability to know where to begin. Instead of being able to nurture my myself with healthy ideas, I cook.

First draft, I don’t really know where I’m going with this, it’ll probably remain this way.
