I am Jade. I am 25 years old, born and raised in the South of France. I studied English literature and civilisation. I always thought I would become an English teacher in France or abroad for as long as I can remember, but I decided otherwise at the very last minute. So here I am, and here we are. I do not intend to become a published writer; this is more of an in-between hobby, a way to gain confidence in writing and expressing my thoughts.
Why a blog? I guess I miss this format. I also don’t relate to using social media, but the Gen Z in me likes to share everything, so this is the perfect in-between.
What could you be doing here? First: please, please, please tell me if you spot any grammar mistakes or if you can think of a better way to phrase something—anything. Be critical! I want to improve, and this is the best way I know how. Second: I want to prove that writing does not have to be a big thing, that anyone can write in any form if they desire to, and never be stopped by how others might perceive them.
Will it only be articles? Mostly, but I’m thinking about adding a section with a selection of poems I like. This is another goal of mine: to bring poetry to the fore and give it space.
